OEI Update 5.7.1

We are excited to announce a new release of the simulator firmware version 5.7.1.

It is important that you update both the OEISim Pro app on your tablet and the simulator firmware in order to ensure the optimum performance of your simulator.

IMPORTANT
Before your proceed, It is important that you check the current software version of the simulator you are updating. If your simulator's current software version is 5.4.3d, you will need to download and install the ASUS Update file before you download and install the OEI 5.7.1 update.

If your current simulator software version is 5.4.3a, 5.4.3b, or 5.4.3c, or any version of 5.7.0, you can proceed directly to the 5.7.1 update below.

Instructions:

• In order to install the latest version of the OEISim Pro app for your tablet you must be logged into your personal or institutional Apple ID/iTunes or Android account. 
• Delete the current version of the OEISim Pro app on your tablet.
• Install the latest version of the OEISim Pro application to your tablet
• iOS (Apple) Apple Store OEISim Pro App
• Download the OEI Firmware update 5.7.1 to your simulator
• Download the full installation instructions for update 5.7.1

Note about updating to the latest version of the OEI Sim Pro app on your iPad:
When you update to the new version of the OEI Sim Pro app, you may see this prompt from Apple:

Make sure to click "Allow"

If you click on "Don't Allow" by mistake, take the following steps:

Open Settings on the iPad

Scroll down and select "Apps"

Find and select "OEI", and the following screen will appear:

Enable "Local Network" as it shows above

Once that is done, the Application will be able to connect to the simulator.
